White wine sauce
Ingredients
for 2 dl
½ tbsp | butter |
1 | shallot, finely chopped |
1 dl | dry white vermouth (e.g. Noilly Prat) (or white wine) |
2 dl | single cream for sauces |
2 sprig | thyme |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
How it's done
Heat the butter in a pan. Sauté the shallot. Pour in the vermouth and cream, add the thyme, bring to the boil, simmer over a medium heat for approx. 5 mins., season.
