Flavoured winter waters
Ingredients
for 3 litres
| 1 | pear, cut into pieces |
| 1 | persimmon, cut into cubes |
| 1 litre | water |
| 3 | star anise |
| 1 | pomegranate, seeds removed |
| 2 cm | ginger, in slices |
| 1 litre | water |
| 2 | cinnamon sticks |
| 1 | tangerine, segmented |
| 1 | cinnamon stick |
| 1 | vanilla pod, cut lenghtwise, seeds scratched out |
| 1 litre | water |
How it's done
Pear & persimmon
Place the pear, persimmon and star anise in a jug, fill with water. Cover and leave to infuse in the fridge for approx. 1 hr.
Pomegranate
Place the pomegranate seeds, ginger and cinnamon in a jug, fill with water. Cover and leave to infuse in the fridge for approx. 1 hr.
Tangerine
Place the tangerine, cinnamon, vanilla pod and seeds in a jug, fill with water, mix well. Cover and leave to infuse in the fridge for approx. 1 hr.
