Apple crumble cake with vanilla ice cream
Ingredients
for 12 pieces
| 270 g | pastry dough, rolled into a circle (e.g. Betty Bossi butter pastry dough) |
| 200 g | ground hazelnuts |
| 4 | apples, cut into wedges |
| 100 g | sugar |
| 100 g | butter |
| 150 g | white flour |
| 2 ball | vanilla ice cream (e.g. Frisco vanilla ice cream) |
How it's done
Cake
Place the pastry in the prepared tin, top with the nuts and apple slices.
Crumble topping
Mix the sugar, butter and flour by hand until the mixture becomes crumbly, sprinkle on top of the apples.
To bake
Approx. 50 mins. in the lower half of an oven preheated to 180°C. Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, remove from the tin, place on a cooling rack and allow to cool completely. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
