Blueberry & coconut smoothie bowl

This popular smoothie is packed with antioxidants and secondary metabolites, served in a bowl and decorated with fruit and muesli. The ripe bananas give the smoothie a natural sweetness and go wonderfully with the blueberries and yoghurt. Smoothie bowls are incredibly tasty and versatile. Depending on your choice of ingredients, they can contain your complete daily serving of fruit.

Ingredients

for 2 person

Smoothie bowl
bananas, ripe, sliced, frozen
300 g blueberries, fresh or frozen
300 g coconut milk yoghurt (e.g. KARMA Jocos Natural)
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla paste
ice cubes
Topping
2 tbsp crispy muesli (e.g. KARMA Blueberry Chia Granola)
10 g dark chocolate, chopped
20 g blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 tbsp coconut milk yoghurt

How it's done

Smoothie bowl

Remove the bananas from the freezer approx. 5 mins. prior to use. Using a food processor or blender, puree the bananas with all the remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour the smoothie into bowls.

Topping

Sprinkle all of the ingredients on top of the smoothie bowls, serve immediately.
