Melon ketchup
Ingredients
for 5 dl
| 1 tbsp | oil |
| 1 | sweet potato |
| 1 | watermelon |
| ½ tsp | sweet paprika |
| 1 dl | white wine vinegar |
| 5 tbsp | sugar |
| 1 tsp | salt |
How it's done
Ketchup
Heat the oil in a pan. Briefly sauté the sweet potato, watermelon and paprika. Add the vinegar, sugar and salt, simmer gently for approx. 10 mins., puree, reduce for approx. 90 mins.
While still boiling hot, ladle the mixture into the clean, pre-warmed jars and fill to just below the rim.
