Exotic BBQ sauce

Ingredients

for 4 person

Sauce
mango (approx. 350 g), diced, 1/2 set aside
100 g ketchup
onion, finely chopped
garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 dl Coca Cola
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
3 tbsp cane sugar
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp hot mustard
¾ tsp salt
a little  pepper
2 tbsp whisky

How it's done

Sauce

Place the mango and all the other ingredients up to and including the pepper in a pan and bring to the boil, simmer on a low heat for approx. 20 mins., stirring occasionally. Add the whisky and the reserved mango cubes, simmer for one more minute, allow to cool.
