Ingredients

for 8 pieces

Burger patties
600 g mince (chicken)
shallot, finely chopped
egg
1 stick lemongrass, core finely chopped
4 tbsp coconut flakes
½ tbsp curry powder
1 tsp salt
a little  pepper

How it's done

Burger patties

Place the mince in a bowl along with all the other ingredients up to and including the coconut flakes, season. Mix well until the ingredients form a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 4 burgers.

Grill

Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Grill the burgers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 6 mins. on each side.
