Falafel burgers with mango
Ingredients
for 6 pieces
2 tin | chickpeas (approx. 400 g each), drained, rinsed |
½ | mango, cut into chunks |
100 g | fine polenta |
2 | garlic, pressed |
½ tsp | cumin |
¾ tsp | salt |
½ | bell pepper, diced |
1 tbsp | flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped |
How it's done
Chickpea patties
Roughly puree the chickpeas and mango. Mix the polenta with all the other ingredients, knead well by hand until the ingredients have combined to form a compact mass. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 6 burgers.
Grill the peaches
Charcoal/gas/electric grill: Grill the falafel burgers over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 4 mins. on each side.
