Lemon syrup
Ingredients
for 7 dl
7 dl | water |
350 g | sugar |
2 | organic lemons, use thinly peeled zest and all of the juice |
How it's done
Syrup
Bring the water and all the other ingredients to the boil while stirring. Reduce to a syrupy consistency for approx. 40 mins. over a medium heat.
While still boiling hot, pour the syrup through a sieve into the clean, warmed bottle and fill to just below the rim. Seal immediately and leave to cool.
