Korean beef with pak choi

Ingredients

for 4 person

Marinade
3 tbsp apple sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
garlic cloves, squeezed
½ tbsp ginger, grated
1 tsp chilli flakes
rib eye steaks, approx. 220 g each
To grill the meat
½ tsp sea salt
To grill the pak choi
600 g pak choi, cut lengthwise
1 tbsp sesame oil
a little  sea salt

How it's done

Marinade

Combine the apple sauce with all the other ingredients up to and including the chilli flakes. Brush the meat with the marinade, cover and leave to marinate in the fridge for approx. 1 hr.

To grill the meat

Grill the meat over/on a high heat for approx. 4 mins. on each side. Sprinkle with fleur de sel.

To grill the pak choi

Brush the pak choi with the sesame oil, place in a grill tray. Grill over/on a medium heat for approx. 3 mins. on each side, remove the stem, sprinkle the leaves with fleur de sel.
