Crispy apricot flan
Ingredients
for 6 pieces
1 | puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 24 x 45 cm) |
80 g | almond paste, cut into pieces |
650 g | apricots, cut in half |
25 g | butter, cut into pieces |
2 tbsp | coarse cane sugar |
50 g | almond slivers |
icing sugar, to dust |
How it's done
Pastry dough
Roll out the dough, place in the tray along with the baking paper, cover with the almond paste.
Topping
Arrange the apricots on top of the dough. Top with the butter, sugar and almonds.
To bake
Approx. 30 mins. on the bottom shelf of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove the flan from the oven.
To decorate
Dust the flan with icing sugar.
