Ingredients

for 4 person

Cevapcici sausages
600 g minced meat (beef)
red pepper, one quarter diced, rest cut into approx. 2 cm pieces
red chilli, deseeded, finely chopped
1 tbsp peppermint, finely chopped
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp ginger powder
1 tsp salt
wooden skewer
a little  peanut oil
Onion rings
onions (approx. 150 g each), cut into thick rings
a little  peanut oil

How it's done

Cevapcici sausages

Combine the beef mince, diced pepper, chilli, mint, sesame seeds, ginger and salt, mix well. With wet hands, shape the mixture into 24 little sausages approx. 6 cm long, place on the wooden skewers along with the pieces of pepper, brush with oil.

Charcoal grill: approx. 6 mins. over a high heat.

Gas/electric grill: approx. 8 mins. on the highest setting.

Onion rings

Brush the onion rings with oil, place on the grill next to the cevapcici and cook for 2-3 mins. on each side. Serve with the cevapcici.
