Beef salad bowl

Ingredients

for 4 person

Marinade
2 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp fish sauce
garlic cloves, pressed
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 tbsp cane sugar
Meat
500 g minced meat (beef)
½ tbsp sesame oil
250 g bean sprouts
lime, use only the juice
½ tsp salt
a little  pepper
Salad
2 tbsp apple vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp liquid honey
1 tsp chilli flakes
¼ tsp salt
spring onions incl. green parts, cut into thin strips
cucumber, peeled, deseeded, cut into thin strips
red pepper, cut into thin strips

How it's done

Marinade

Combine the oil with all the other ingredients up to and including the sugar. Set aside half of the marinade.

Meat

Mix the mince with the remainder of the marinade. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the meat for approx. 4 mins., add the bean sprouts and lime juice, pour in the reserved marinade, season.

Salad

In a bowl, mix the vinegar with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Add the spring onions, mix, leave to infuse for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the cucumber and pepper.
