Beef salad bowl
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 2 tbsp | sesame oil |
| 2 tbsp | soy sauce |
| 1 tbsp | fish sauce |
| 2 | garlic cloves, pressed |
| 1 tbsp | ginger, grated |
| 1 tbsp | cane sugar |
| 500 g | minced meat (beef) |
| ½ tbsp | sesame oil |
| 250 g | bean sprouts |
| 1 | lime, use only the juice |
| ½ tsp | salt |
| a little | pepper |
| 2 tbsp | apple vinegar |
| 1 tbsp | sesame oil |
| 1 tbsp | soy sauce |
| 1 tbsp | liquid honey |
| 1 tsp | chilli flakes |
| ¼ tsp | salt |
| 3 | spring onions incl. green parts, cut into thin strips |
| 1 | cucumber, peeled, deseeded, cut into thin strips |
| 1 | red pepper, cut into thin strips |
How it's done
Marinade
Combine the oil with all the other ingredients up to and including the sugar. Set aside half of the marinade.
Meat
Mix the mince with the remainder of the marinade. Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan. Fry the meat for approx. 4 mins., add the bean sprouts and lime juice, pour in the reserved marinade, season.
Salad
In a bowl, mix the vinegar with all the other ingredients up to and including the salt. Add the spring onions, mix, leave to infuse for approx. 5 mins. Stir in the cucumber and pepper.
