Ingredients

for 6 person

Pastry dough
puff pastry dough, rolled into a rectangle (approx. 24 x 45 cm)
3 tbsp sugar
Filling
2 dl full cream
3 tbsp sugar
organic lemon, use a little grated zest
400 g strawberries, in slices
2 tbsp chopped pistachios
  icing sugar, to dust

How it's done

Pastry dough

Roll out the pastry, cut crosswise into 4 equal strips, place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle the pastry strips with sugar.

To bake

Approx. 12 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220°C. Remove from the oven, slide onto a cooling rack and allow to cool.

Filling

Beat the cream, sugar and lemon zest until stiff. Spread the whipped cream on top of 3 pieces of puff pastry, top with 3/4 of the strawberries. Stack the pastry pieces on top of each other and place the remaining piece of pastry on top. Cover with the remaining strawberries, sprinkle with pistachios and dust with icing sugar.
