Dried fruit compote
Ingredients
for 4 person
250 g | dried fruit (e.g. prunes, apricots, figs, pineapple, cranberries) |
2 ½ dl | apple juice |
1 tbsp | cane sugar |
1 | lemon, the whole juice |
How it's done
Chop the dried fruit. Pour the apple juice over the fruit, cover and leave to steep for approx. 1 hr. Bring the fruit and steeping liquid to the boil in a pan with the sugar and lemon juice, reduce the heat, simmer for approx. 5 mins. Leave to cool.
