Meat patties
Ingredients
for 4 person
600 g | minced meat (beef) |
1 | spring onion incl. green part |
¼ bunch | flat-leaf parsley |
30 g | day-old half-white bread |
1 | egg |
2 tsp | Thai 7-spice |
1 tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
2 tsp | thyme leaves |
oil for frying |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 ½ tbsp | vinegar |
1 ½ tbsp | olive oil |
¼ bunch | flat-leaf parsley |
salt and pepper to taste | |
500 g | cherry tomato |
How it's done
Place the meat in a bowl. Finely chop the spring onions, cut the green part into rings, finely chop the parsley and thyme, chop up the bread. Add all the ingredients to the meat, season and knead the mixture by hand until the ingredients bind together.
With wet hands, shape the meat mixture into 12 patties. Heat a little oil in a non-stick frying pan, fry the patties in batches for approx. 3 mins. on each side, remove from the pan and keep warm.
For the salad dressing, mix together the mustard, vinegar and oil. Finely chop the parsley, stir in, then season the dressing. Cut the tomatoes in half, add to the dressing and mix together. Serve the salad alongside the patties.
Serving suggestion: White bread.
