Pasta with Mortadella and peas

Ingredients

for 4 person

300 g pasta (e.g. penne)
  salted water, boiling
onion
100 g Mortadella sausage in slices
1 tbsp olive oil
1 ½ dl full cream
½ tsp mild paprika
  salt and pepper to taste
200 g frozen peas

How it's done

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, drain and keep warm. Chop the onion and cut the Mortadella into strips. Heat the oil in the same pan, fry the Mortadella, remove. Add the chopped onion, sauté. Pour in the cream, bring to the boil, season. Add the peas and simmer for approx. 2 mins. Add the sauce to the pasta, garnish with the Mortadella strips. Serve with grated parmesan, if liked.
