Beef rolls with sesame marinade
Ingredients
for 4 portions
200 g | courgettes, cut into thin strips |
1 | red pepper, cut into thin strips |
1 tbsp | sesame seeds |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
8 | thin beef cutlets (e.g. sirloin) (approx. 80 g each) |
¼ tsp | salt |
How it's done
Rolls
Mix the courgettes and all the ingredients up to and including salt, cover and steep for approx. 30 mins. Drain the vegetables, set the marinade aside. Season the steaks with salt, put the vegetables on top, wrap the steaks around the vegetables and secure with toothpicks.
Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue:
Grill the beef rolls over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C, for approx. 3 mins. all over. Serve the beef rolls with the reserved marinade.
