Pork chops with bacon-wrapped onions
Ingredients
for 4 portions
1 | onion, cut into eight rings approx. 5 mm thick, rest finely chopped |
8 slice | bacon |
150 g | cream quark |
30 g | dried tomatoes in oil, drained, finely chopped |
1 | garlic clove, squeezed |
½ tbsp | rosemary, finely chopped |
¼ tsp | salt |
a little | pepper |
4 | pork chops (each approx. 200 g) |
1 tsp | salt |
How it's done
Bacon-wrapped onions and dip
Wrap the bacon around the onion rings. Combine the chopped onions, quark and all the ingredients up to and including rosemary, season.
Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue:
Grill the onion rings over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C, for approx. 6 mins. all over. Salt the chops and grill with the onion rings for approx. 5 mins. on each side.
