Pork chops with bacon-wrapped onions

Ingredients

for 4 portions

Bacon-wrapped onions and dip
onion, cut into eight rings approx. 5 mm thick, rest finely chopped
8 slice bacon
150 g cream quark
30 g dried tomatoes in oil, drained, finely chopped
garlic clove, squeezed
½ tbsp rosemary, finely chopped
¼ tsp salt
a little  pepper
Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue:
pork chops (each approx. 200 g)
1 tsp salt

How it's done

Bacon-wrapped onions and dip

Wrap the bacon around the onion rings. Combine the chopped onions, quark and all the ingredients up to and including rosemary, season.

Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue:

Grill the onion rings over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C, for approx. 6 mins. all over. Salt the chops and grill with the onion rings for approx. 5 mins. on each side.
