Grilled fruit
Ingredients
for 4 person
4 | strawberries, cut in half |
2 | peaches, cut into approx. 2 cm pieces |
½ | charentais melon, cut into approx. 2 cm pieces |
2 | bananas, cut into approx. 2 cm pieces |
2 tbsp | liquid honey |
2 | fresh egg whites |
1 pinch | salt |
100 g | sugar |
1 | vanilla pod, cut lenghtwise, seeds scratched out |
How it's done
Place the fruit pieces onto the grill tray, drizzle with honey.
Charcoal/gas/electric barbecue: Grill the fruit in the tray, covered, over/on a medium heat (approx. 200 °C for approx. 6 mins.
Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff. Add the sugar little by little and continue beating until the egg whites turn glossy. Stir in the vanilla seeds.
Spoon the egg whites over the fruit, cover and grill for about another 4 mins.
