Chicken and potato tray bake
Ingredients
for 4 person
| 1 | chicken (approx. 1.1 kg) |
| 400 g | waxy potatoes |
| 400 g | frozen peeled chestnuts, defrosted |
| 100 g | diced bacon |
| 1 dl | apple juice |
| 1 tbsp | thyme leaf |
| 2 tbsp | olive oil |
| ¾ tsp | salt |
| a little | nutmeg |
| a little | pepper |
| 2 | red-skinned apples |
How it's done
Chicken & potatoes
Cut the chicken into 8 pieces, cut the potatoes into wedges, combine in a bowl with the chestnuts, bacon, apple juice, thyme, oil and spices and spread out on an oven tray lined with baking paper.
Apples
Oven bake for approx. 20 mins. in the centre of an oven preheated to 220°C. Meanwhile, cut the apples into segments, arrange on the oven tray and finish baking for approx. 20 mins.
