Bread slices

100 g plain cottage cheese
¼ dl water
2 eggs
1 tbsp sugar
2 pinch salt
4 slice zopf bread (approx. 4 cm thick)

French toast

clarified butter
250 g mixed berries
50 g plain cottage cheese

Bread slices

Puree the cottage cheese, water, eggs, sugar and salt, pour into a wide dish. Place the slices of bread in the dish, leave to soak for approx. 10 mins. Turn the bread and leave to soak for a further 10 mins.

French toast

Heat a little clarified butter in a non-stick frying pan. Reduce the heat. Fry the slices of bread in batches over a medium heat for approx. 2 mins. on each side until golden, keep warm. Serve the French toast with the berries and cottage cheese.

Good to know
Tip: Instead of sugar, use a sachet of bourbon vanilla sugar. Sprinkle with icing sugar prior to serving.
Tip: Use frozen berries instead of fresh berries.
